Subject: | NetExtra and WebExtra for OS/2 |
Dear OS/2 user,
please check out the new NetExtra/WebExtra.
You may order it directly from Innoval, or locally from SBT Information Systems Pty Ltd
Forwarding note from: innoval@ibm.net Thu, 10 Oct 1996 22:29:36 EST
I am writing to you to bring you up-to-date on the status of NetExtra and WebExtra.
NetExtra (http://www.innoval.com/netextra), which started shipping in September, is doing extremely
well. Here is what some of our customers are saying:
"This is the most useful OS/2 utility released in 1996."
"Nickname support (for URL's) is alone worth the price."
"Page mining will save me hours and hours."
"This is a dramatic improvement over WebExtra both in terms of performance and function."
Our technical support team is equally delighted because this product is virtually problem free
whether you are running with "old" Warp, "new" Warp, WebExplorer, or Netscape Navigator.
As promised, we will be delivering a maintenance release for WebExtra by the end of October, which
includes rewritten code in C/C++. However, I encourage you to consider converting to NetExtra to
take advantage of its significant features and to be able to use it with the Netscape Navigator in
addition to the WebExplorer. NetExtra is fully compatible with both browsers and bookmarks are
interchangeable.
The conversion from WebExtra to NetExtra is only US$20.00 and full details with screen shots are
available at our home page:
You may use the online form at our web site or simply reply to this note. If you wish, please
indicate that we can use the credit card number that we have on file.
As an OS/2 software developer, I feel very proud of NetExtra. We received wonderful help from both
Netscape and IBM in bringing this product to market. We were privileged to have been invited to the
official IBM launch of OS/2 Warp 4 in San Francisco where we had an opportunity to demonstrate
NetExtra and the Post Road Mailer to the press.
Thank you for your continued support of OS/2.
