Subject: | New S3 Drivers for OS/2 |
Sb: New S3 Drivers Fm: Mike Landi 73730,545 To: All
For anyone with S3 graphics chips in their systems and who use OS/2, S3 has released a
new driver, v3.03.01.
This driver supports a large range of S3 chips. The important item to note is that
these are *32 bit drivers* and use the OS/2 flat memory model. Bottom line is that the
new drivers are almost twice as fast as the v2.x drivers.
I have installed the new drivers in my PC350, P100, Trio64 system and the difference
was obvious to me immediately.
Go to the S3 page at (click here ) http://www.s3.com and click the hardware area.
(By the way, IMHO, S3 is providing excellent support to Warp users and they should be
told so if you agree.)
