If you are using IBM's GN, and access your mail NOT by dialing up IBM GN,
you can receive, but you can no longer send your mail using your IBM
account. IBM has modified the SMTP gatway to bar such access. They also
didn't tell their customers thay're doing so.

Crystal Semi Audio and OS/2 web page updated (correction)

---------------------------------------------------------------------
My Crystal Semiconductor and OS/2 web page has been updated. The purpose of
this page is to provide comprehensive information on using soundcards based
on Crystal Semiconductor codecs with OS/2. If you're frustrated with
Creative Labs' non-support of OS/2, maybe it's time you upgraded to a
better sound card, especially if it has the best OS/2 support of any sound
card.

IMPORTANT: If you sent me information earlier on problems you've had with
your sound card, could you please look over the new information on this
page, see if it helps, and email me with an update. I've collected lots of
information, most of it sketchy and/or conflicting, and I need to get
updated information on how your card works under OS/2, even if the
information on this page is still correct.

I forgot to add the URL in my previous post. Don't you hate it when people do
that? :-)

http://www.io.com/~timur/crystalos2.html

In the meantime, I've made another update, and I actually found a sound
card with a CS 4237. Unfortunately, I have no idea where anyone can
buy this card, as I received mine from the Crystal test lab. I'm
tracking it down, though.

Aesop's Fables on CDROM - Native OS/2 Available

---------------------------------------------------------------------
May 30, 1997
QVision, Inc. P.O.Box 188 Draper, UT 84020
801-571-8625 Fax EMail: info@qvision.net

Aesop's Volume 1 of the Workhorse Library is now shipping. Forty pieces of
original artwork accompany forty fables on a CDROM. The single CDROM has
program versions for Windows 3.11, Windows 95 and OS/2. The OS/2 version is a
native OS/2 program. QVision now accepts American Express and Discover as
well as VISA and MasterCard..

Workhorse Library Series

Q: When is a book more than a book?
A: When it is a Workhorse Library Computer Book on CDROM from QVision.

A Workhorse Library Book is a combination of text, spoken words and original
artwork. Titles in the Workhorse Library Series will include both classical
and original works. There will be books suitable for children, teenagers, and
adults as well as books suitable for children of all ages such as "Alice's
Adventures in Wonderland".

The first Workhorse Library Book to be released is "Aesop's Fables - Volume
1". A collection of 40 Aesop's Fables each with an original piece of artwork,
hand drawn and scanned into the computer in full color. QVision has collected
over 350 unique Aesop's Fables and plans to publish at least two more volumes
in 1997 of these fables.

A Workhorse Library Book lets you read the text and also will read the text to
you or your child. A simple easy to use interface, tested on children as young
as 4 years old, lets you concentrate on the story not the computer interface.
Your young child can sit down and have an Aesop's Fable read to her or him
without your assistance.

Research has indicated that reading out load to a child is one of the best
aids to the child's future educational process. Now you can have your
computer read to your child and to you too!

Children of all ages - such as an 80 year old grandmother - can enjoy Aesop;
these timeless stories are teaching-fables from the classical era of Greece.
Everyone remembers the story of the "Tortoise and the Hare" from their youth.

However the Workhorse Library Series was not designed to be just a story book
reader. This series was designed along side QVision's Workhorse Learning
Series of educational programs. The Workhorse Learning Series is designed to
be educational not "edutainment". Children love to learn and our test
response to educational programs has been an eye opener.

Available now to OS/2, Windows 3.11 and Windows 95.
"Aesop's Fables - Volume 2" is scheduled for July 1997.
"Aesop's Fables - Volume 3" is scheduled for October 1997.

Workhorse Library as an Educational Tool
----------------------------------------
A Workhorse Library Book produces educational benefits on different levels
depending on the child. A young child 2-3 years old enjoys it mainly as a
"picture book". A little older child 4-5 years old enjoys it as a story and a
"seeing the pictures move in my mind" book, thus giving them a chance to build
an imagination and to start an understanding of more vocabulary. A 5-7 year
old beginning reader actively increases his vocabulary and sight words. A
young reader 6-7 years old gets some reinforcement for his work in reading by
being able to follow along in a "different book" from his school book. And a
reader 8-9 to 10-11 years old can follow along completely and pick up the more
difficult words. All the while, the children are learning and practicing basic
computer skills too.

Older readers will enjoy classic literature such as Robert Louis Stevenson.

Workhorse Library User Interface
--------------------------------
The interface to the Workhorse Library consist of three parts. The first is
the "Bookshelf" or index of books. Each book when installed from the CDROM
places an entry in the index of books. The reader selects the book he or she
wished from the index. If the proper CDROM for the selected book is not in
the CDROM drive, the reader is prompted to insert it.

The second part is the Table of Contents for a book. In a collection of
fables or short stories, the reader can jump to the one they wish to read. Or
they can go to a bookmark they have set for this book to continue reading
where they previously left off.

The third part is the actual page of the book: these can be text or pictures.

The reader (or the reader and parent) can set options on how they wish to use
the Workhorse Book. One of these options allows the reader to have the
computer read the page when the reader asks it to. Another starts the
computer reading a page as soon as the reader turns to a new page.

The reader can instruct the computer to read a single page and then wait for
the reader to turn the page. Or he can ask the computer to turn the pages
and read until the end of the chapter.

Pictures can be displayed at full color (16 million colors) to get the full
effect of the artwork or at 256 colors for speed. For readers with 8-bit
sound cards, there is an option to play 8-bit sounds. However, QVision
recommends the 16-bit sounds for clarity and background noise.

Volume levels can be adjusted just by hitting a number key on your key board.

All mouse interface actions are mapped to the key board so the reader can use
either the mouse or the keyboard to control the Workhorse Library.

Group Sales

If you belong to a regular group of 12 or more your group can receive
discounts on QVision software. Just go to

BETA: Agathon PM Synth B2 now ready for testing (MIDI sounds)

Reply-to: haraldei@stud.ntnu.no (Harald Eilertsen)

---------------------------------------------------------------------
The Agathon PM Synth is a MIDI application for OS/2 Warp 4 (or Warp 3 w/
RTMIDI) allowing you to play music with the PC keyboard as if it were a crude
MIDI keyboard. It allows recording and playback of up to 16 channels of music,
using the MIDI instrument sounds in your sound card.

The program REQUIRES a sound card with drivers supporting RTMIDI. You'll also
need a 486 compatible processor and about 100kB of free disk space to use the
program.

Agathon can be found at my web page:

Complementary Telephone Support for OS/2 Warp 4

Reply-to: tsipple@us.ibm.com (Timothy Sipples)
[Followups directed to comp.os.os2.setup.misc]
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Please be advised that the limited complementary telephone support for OS/2
Warp 4 is no longer available. This limited telephone support had been
provided only to individual users of OS/2 Warp 4, to provide support only
to a certain installed level described in the "Service and Support" card
contained in the OS/2 Warp 4 package. OS/2 Warp 4 is the only IBM software
product that had this limited complementary support available.

All telephone support from IBM for OS/2 Warp 4 is fee-based at this point.
However, complementary support is still available through the World Wide

---------------------------------------------------------------------
SouthSoft, Inc. May 23, 1997

PMMail 1.92 was released today. It is mainly a bugfix release addressing
points raised in PMMail 1.91. In addition to bugfixes 1.92 adds integration
features with our upcoming USENET news client, PMINews. PMINews will be
released within a few weeks. If you intend on purchasing it, you will need
PMMail 1.92 or later to permit filing of news posts within PMMail as well
as proper use of shared components. Please install PMMail 1.92 before
installing any version of PMINews.

In addition, a previously undocumented feature will now be documented. If

OS/2 e-Zine! celebrates Help Desk's 1 yr anniversary

Reply-to: editor@os2ezine.com (Trevor @ OS/2 e-Zine!)

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you reading the highly acclaimed "Help Desk" comic strip? Everyone else
is!

"Help Desk" is the OS/2-oriented weekly cartoon written by comic mastermind,
Chris Wright, and published exclusively in the pages of OS/2 e-Zine!
(http://www.os2ezine.com/) appearing weekly in our "News Folder" and monthly
in our regular magazine.

"Help Desk" has just reached its first birthday, and like most one year olds,
it has an attitude! Topics are ripped from today's headlines! Drop by and
read about important current events such as:
- Monolithic software companies and their business practices!
- Rigged opinion polls!
- Impenetrable "customer relations" propaganda!

Here are just a few of the comments our readers have sent us over the
past year:

We love the "Help Desk" cartoon strip, it is starting to rival
"Dilbert" for wall-space on our cubes here...
- Dave Roberts

I can't get enough of "Help Desk". I wait for it every week!
- Steven Connolly

"Help Desk" is definitely the best cartoon I've ever read in any
publication. Chris Wright is a genius, don't ever let him go.
- Peter Jones

I don't get it. What does this guy have against computer
companies anyway? This comic strip is subversive and deviant,
and probably communist...
- Chris Wright

Drop by OS/2 e-Zine! today (http://www.os2ezine.com/) and find out what
all the fuss is about!
-----
OS/2 e-Zine! is a monthly, electronic, OS/2 magazine published free of
charge since 1995 on the WWW (http://www.os2ezine.com/) and in zipped
format to BBS's and FTP sites worldwide. Its purpose is to encourage the
use and discussion of OS/2 and its native software. Every issue reaches
over 36,000 readers and contains news, reviews, tips and articles relevant
to the novice and experienced OS/2 user.

PORT: Lynx 2.7.1 ported to OS/2

---------------------------------------------------------------------
I have just finished porting Lynx 2.7.1 to OS/2. This is a straight port of
the Unix/VMS release version 2.7.1 of Lynx. Lynx is a full-featured text-mode
WWW browser.

Lynx 2.7.1 does not replace Lynx/2; the two are substantially different
programs. Lynx/2 is based on an older version of Lynx (2.4.1), but has a
significant body of added features relative to mainstream Lynx 2.4.1,
including table support, some frames support, user-defined colors, and support
for Java applets. I ported Lynx 2.7.1 to OS/2 largely because of the
divergence between "mainstream" Lynx development and Lynx/2. Hardcore OS/2
Lynxers will want to have both programs. A table summarizes the differences
between the two packages:

Feature Lynx/2 Lynx 2.7.1
------------------------------------------------------------------
Support for tables yes some
Support for frames some some
HTML 3.0/3.2 tags no yes
User-defined colors yes no*
Java applet support yes no
Works under XFree86 no yes
Source code GPL'ed no yes
Cookies supported no optional

(* unless you know something about terminfo!)

Lynx 2.7.1 also has lots of new configurable options relating to such things
as HTML comment handling and how inline images are displayed. Lynx 2.7.1 for
OS/2 can be run in a Full-screen session, a VIO window, or an xterm under
XFree86-OS/2.

Lynx 2.7.1 for OS/2 (binaries and source patches) can be found at the
following places:

ftp://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/incoming/os2lynx271.zip
hopefully soon to be
ftp://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/apps/internet/www/browser/os2lynx271.zip
and
http://studentweb.tulane.edu/~jmcbray/lynx/

which also has a copy of the README file and links to other Lynx resources.

This release of Lynx 2.7.1 for OS/2 is based on stable Lynx code, but is still
a little buggy or odd in some ways, none of which should interfere with normal
use. The bugs or limitations I know about are mentioned in the included
README file. I welcome comments and suggestions, particularly from anyone who
knows something about setting screen colors in terminfo :) I will be merging
in any fixes anyone sends me or that I come up with on my own and re-releasing
the Lynx 2.7.1 towards the end of the summer; if I don't respond to your
e-mail it doesn't mean I'm ignoring you, just that I'll get to it later.

GAME: Entrepreneur BETA 6C! (multiplayer game)

Reply-to: wardell@ibm.net (Brad Wardell)

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Entrepreneur beta 6C is now available for download at

http://www.stardock.com

Entrepreneur is a real-time multiplayer (and single player) corporate conquest
game.

You start a company, choose a market, and conquer the world by manufacturing
products, marketing them, and improving the technology in them. It has been
dubbed "The Microsoft Simulator" since it is loosely inspired by the
activities of Microsoft (i.e. crush your opponents through superior marketing
with decent technology).

Up to 8 people can play at the same time over a plain modem connection over
the Internet (i.e. not "stop and go" but fluid). Even in the beta version
internet performance is quite good.

To get the beta, go to http://www.stardock.com.

You must have Windows 95, Windows NT 4.0, or OS/2 Warp 3 (with FP23) or later.

Announcing xBase compiler and tools for OS/2

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Looking for a development environment for xBase under OS/2???. Then have a
look at Base32 for OS/2.

A list of features and capabilities is detailed below.

The only difference between the registered version and the demo is that the
demo version is restricted to two work areas whereas in the full version
the limit is forty work areas.

For your information the software is sold in two forms - a single user
license which costs NZ$ 285 (approx US$ 195) and an Enterprise license
which allows 15 users in a single company/organisation. This license is NZ$
1,285 (approx US$ 879). Visa and Mastercard accepted.

The software is distributed electronically. We believe this way we can keep
the costs down to a sensible level.

The downloadable demo (including manual) is located at our web site at:

http:/www.maxxum.co.nz/prod01

Alternatively, if it is easier for you we will email you the demo version
(allow five days as we batch e-mail them). Send e-mail to:
maxxum@xtra.co.nz. Just include "Request Base32 demo" as your subject. We
do not sell or release e-mail lists to any other party.

If you have any comments, we would be pleased to receive them.

With kind regards,

Brendon Deere

OS/2 Software MIDI player TiMidity

---------------------------------------------------------------------
TiMidity is a program for converting MIDI files to waveform data suitable
for output to conventional sound files (.wav, .au) or directly and in real
time to your sound card. It is a port of the UNIX program by Tuukka Toivonen.
It will play MIDI files with a sound quality on par with wavetable MIDI sound
systems, which is vastly superior to the FM MIDI sound systems on typical
low-range sound cards.

In order to output it to your sound card you require DART to be set up.
OS/2 Warp 4 uses have it included. It is available for OS/2 Warp 3, but I'm
not certain how you are supposed to get it. The EMX runtime library is also
required.

TiMidity uses GUS patch files as sources for instruments samples. A
complete collection requires about 5MB+ of disk space and is necessary to play
random MIDIs. There is a package of two patches and some test MIDI files so
you can determine it the system will work for you before you have to download
all that.

The new release of TiMidity now has both the regular text-mode interface
(or lack of interface) and a PM graphical interface. The PM interface features
a limited playlist capability (to be improved), ability to start, stop and
move the current position to any point in the sound file and the ability
to play wav, avi and any other format supported by MMOS/2.

This is distributed as Freeware under the GNU license. The source code
is available, and it is a useful real-life example of how to use DART.

TiMidity for OS/2 is available at

IBM Delivers Tools to Build Web-Based Server

Reply-to: tsipple@us.ibm.com (Timothy Sipples)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
ALL tools described in this announcement are fully supported on OS/2 Warp.
See below for complete list of supported platforms...

Press Release : IBM Delivers Tools to Build Web-Based Server
Applications -- the Next-Generation "Killer Apps"

SOMERS, N.Y., May 5, 1997 . . . IBM announced today an integrated line-up
of new and upgraded VisualAge* tools that will help businesses combine
Internet technologies with enterprise systems. The tools are designed to
build today's server "killer apps" -- scalable web-enabled business
applications, that require the ability to update, not just access,
enterprise data.

IBM's award winning VisualAge* application development technology has been
enhanced with additional language interoperability, modeling and management
capabilities to extend existing and new, server-based applications and data
to the Internet.

Announcements today include:

* VisualAge for Smalltalk* Version 4; VisualAge for Smalltalk
Server for MVS/ESA V4; VisualAge for Smalltalk Web
Connection V4

* VisualAge Generator V2.2; VisualAge Generator Templates
Version 2.2

* VisualAge for COBOL V2

* VisualAge Tivoli*-ready Toolkits

* VisualAge DataAtlas* Multiplatform V2

"E-business has eliminated the separation between server-based and
web-based applications. To create web-enabled server killer apps, our
customers need tools that interoperate throughout the multiple tiers of the
enterprise, and IBM VisualAge family answers that need," said John Slitz,
vice president, application development marketing, IBM. "VisualAge is a
more complete toolset than anything offered by any other software vendor."

"I continue to be impressed by the level of IBM's serious commitment to
making VisualAge one of the most comprehensive, cross-platform development
environments available on the market today," said Steve McClure, director
of Object Tools Research at IDC. "These latest products allow enterprise
developers to take advantage of state-of-the-art tools and Java to build
and extend server-based applications for the enterprise."

Building and Designing the Killer App

Soon to incorporate Java Beans** as the common component model across the
entire family, IBM VisualAge has the ability to seamlessly integrate
existing legacy systems into web-based applications. The tools in the
VisualAge family, including VisualAge for Java and the solutions announced
today, make server-based killer applications possible.

VisualAge for Smalltalk

Available this week is VisualAge for Smalltalk V4, now on MVS* and other
IBM and non-IBM platforms (see complete list of supported platforms at end
of release). VisualAge for Smalltalk V4 has enhanced support for building
multi-tier business applications that take advantage of emerging
technologies such as the World Wide Web, ActiveX**, OLE**, and OLE controls
(OCX**). The new VisualAge for Smalltalk is the first version certified by
Microsoft** as "Designed for Windows."

Using VisualAge for Smalltalk, Columbia Gas Distribution Companies in Ohio
was able to develop a new core billing system called the Gas Transportation
System (GTS) in six months. "To say onlookers were skeptical about us
succeeding with this project is an understatement," said Keith Hardin,
director of I/S, Columbia Gas Distribution Companies. "However, we met our
target and developed a system that guarantees fast delivery of accurate
customer bills. We anticipate that the GTS will save the company an
estimated $2.5 million in its first full year of operation. In my book,
that's a success story to be proud of."

VisualAge Generator

Also announced are VisualAge Generator Version 2.2 and VisualAge Generator
Templates V2.2. VisualAge Generator now features the JavaBean** component
model and Java client, allowing any Java client to access VisualAge
Generator server applications. Programmers can use the tool's Intelligent
Dynamic Application Partitioning to redistribute applications for improved
performance of complex multi-tier client/server solutions. VisualAge
Generator allows developers to scale and deploy applications across mixed
hardware/software environments. Using VisualAge Generator Templates,
developers can generate applications from database definitions without
writing any code, dramatically reducing development time.

The State of California Department of Health Services used VisualAge
Generator to develop ISIS (Integrated State Information System), which
supports approximately 1,800 users who assist 1.2 million low-income
families. The ISIS system realizes approximately $2.0 million in benefits
each month ($48 million each year) of full operations. "We needed an
environment that would allow us to make substantial changes to applications
quickly, and VisualAge Generator environment met our needs," said Mike
Virga, ISIS application design project leader.

VisualAge for COBOL

To help companies leverage their existing COBOL systems, IBM will deliver
VisualAge for COBOL V2 later this month. The tool will be available on
Windows NT**, in addition to OS/2*, and will incorporate the unique visual
programming paradigm of the VisualAge family. The product's powerful remote
edit/compile/debug feature allows developers to update and debug their MVS
applications from a workstation, without the need to duplicate and manage
the host environment on the desktop. The professional edition of VisualAge
for COBOL has also been enhanced to help customers with the Year 2000
transition.

Managing the Killer App

Deploying e-business applications often boosts the number of customers
accessing business services, increasing the need for managing performance
and reliability. VisualAge provides customers with the ability to manage
both the development environment, through VisualAge TeamConnection, and the
resulting application, through VisualAge Tivoli Toolkits.

VisualAge Tivoli Toolkits

VisualAge Tivoli Toolkits provide a bridge between VisualAge and systems
management products from IBM's Tivoli Systems subsidiary, making managing
applications easy and affordable. VisualAge Tivoli toolkits are available
today on the web for Smalltalk and C++ and will be available soon for Java
and other VisualAge products. Developers can use the toolkit to create
applications that can be managed by Tivoli's network computing management
solution, TME 10 (Tivoli Management Environment) throughout its entire
lifecycle.

VisualAge DataAtlas Multiplatform V2

Even as companies move to the Net, the enterprise data remains their most
important asset. VisualAge DataAtlas Multiplatform V2, available May 30,
allows developers to optimize current critical databases, all while adding
Java front-ends or designing new databases for Web server applications and
data warehouses.

VisualAge DataAtlas, a comprehensive data modeling, database design and
data dictionary tool, is now available on Windows NT, HP-UX** and AIX* (see
complete list of supported platforms at end of release). The tool supports
DB2*, Oracle**, IMS* and the recently announced IBM Universal Database. It
is well integrated with VisualAge TeamConnection, and is a key component of
VisualAge Financial Foundation, IBM's application development environment
for the financial services industry.

IBM's Network Computing Framework

VisualAge family of tools is an integral part of IBM's Network Computing
Framework (NCF), a roadmap for customers and developers to use when moving
their business to the Internet. The scalable nature of VisualAge tools and
their ability to integrate collaborative aspects of applications make
VisualAge ideal for making this roadmap a reality.

By providing Lotus Notes* components in VisualAge for Smalltalk and Java
products, IBM enables application developers to mix commerce and
collaboration in one application. VisualAge Generator applications can
utilize the services of Lotus Domino* servers using MQ Series*, which
enables enterprise applications with legacy data and communications support
to be tied into workflow solutions. The VisualAge family also provides easy
access to enterprise data through native access to DB2, Sybase** and
Oracle, and other databases via ODBC.

Platform Support and Availability

* VisualAge for Smalltalk V4 now supports HP-UX** V10.10, SUN Solaris**
V2.5, Windows** NT 4.0, MVS and OS/2 Warp V4.0, in addition to the
previously available Windows** 3.11, Windows 95**, Windows NT 3.51, OS/2
Warp V3.0 and AIX V4.1.4/4.2. It is available May 5.

* VisualAge Generator V2.2 is available today. The Java client enhancement
will be available to customers in June. VisualAge Generator Templates V2.2
will be available May 30.

OS/2 Links List page updated

Reply-to: Scott@CyberMail.net

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Everyone,

Now that my school is out, I have a little time, so I decided that I would
start working some more on my OS/2 links list web page. In my opinion it
looks a lot better that it used to look. I will still take any suggestions
or additions to it. I still haven't added quite all of the links that I
have accumulated over the last few months, but I might not have yours, so
send it to me.

PS, I need some more Users Groups to send me info about them, like Web
address, Email Address, etc. To add to that section.

I have redone the sections into a more workable view.

When telling me of a new site, it will speed it up if you give we a
section, name, URL, and long description.

If you don't want to write a long description, etc, then still please send
me the URL.

Thanks.

MD+F WebAK Released (Web Animations)

Reply-to: MDF@BIX.COM

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Modular Dreams Incorporated announces the release of MD+F Web Animation Kit
(MD+F WebAK), their first SX based graphics application as well as the most
capable World Wide Web graphics program for IBM OS/2 Warp.

MD+F WebAK is the one OS/2 tool which no website administrator can be
without. Features of WebAK are:

GIF Animations WebAK provides the ability to load and take apart GIF
animations, construct them by simple drag-and-drop, test animations by
playing them (even supporting the Restore Previous method yet supported by
Netscape), or save them using a highly optimized algorithm for the smallest
file size possible. And unlike most other applications, WebAK is designed
to also create and work with GIF Animations containing hundreds of frames.

Pattern Generation WebAK's Pattern Generator lets you create seamless
patterns for use as backgrounds or for inclusion in your animations. With
additional tools such as an Image Holder to store your patterns, a variety
of filters for touching-up, and an Image Tile tester, creating backgrounds
for web pages has never been any easier.

Image maps WebAK's Image map Writer lets you highlight areas on an image,
specify links, and creates Server-side or Client-side image maps for you,
with or without HTML test code. Once you use this tool, you will never want
to hand-code Image maps again.

Scripting WebAK's easy to use scripting language simplifies the tasks
needed for more complex animations, even for the most casual computer
users. For more advanced users, the scripting language (actually a C++
style interpreter) provides more features such as the ability to create or
destroy objects, variables, test conditions, and looping constructs. Either
way, you can find dozens of interesting example scripts on Modular Dreams'
website to get you started.

Image formats and Alpha channel WebAK support a variety of image formats
including GIF, Jpeg, and lossless Jpeg for loading images and some of the
more common formats should you wish to save single images. It also supports
Alpha channels for specifying transparency.

Collapse and Resurrect By using WebAK's unique Collapse and Resurrect
feature, you can store not only the end result of your work, such as a GIF
animation, but also the steps that went into it, for example the GIF
Animator window and its settings, the various effect dialogs which you have
open and even any links you created by drag-and-dropping between objects.
If you create something neat, don't just tell others how to do it, give
them your whole environment. Everything, even images being displayed, will
be neatly stored in one file! Once you use the Collapse and Resurrect
feature provided by WebAK, you will wish all your other programs did this.
